About Us

I was introduced to knitting by one of my grandmothers at an early age, like so many of us were. I can’t remember doing much until I was a bit older, but then it became a passion! I used to go to jumble sales and find a hand knitted jumper, take it home and unpick it, wind it into skeins and wash it, before creating something new. Recycling existed even then! I can’t remember when I taught myself to crochet, but granny squares were the start of a lifelong love of this craft. I love all types of knitting and crochet and I’m always looking for inspiration for my next project. There are so many beautiful yarns available now, it’s difficult to choose my next project, and now I have the run of the shop I'm in heaven!
